We're delighted to present our third original collection encompassing ten gold-plated cosmic earrings unlike any others on this planet, launched exclusively with Hypebae.

Drawing upon Egyptology, global politics, counterculture and the cosmos, the Sphere Collection takes an irreverent look at whether an alternative dimension might just be the solution in times of disharmony on earth.

Influenced by cultural pioneers including Sun Ra, the avant-garde jazz musician and philosopher, as well as Harumi Yamaguchi, the Toyko-based artist responsible for some of the 1980’s most iconic fashion images; the impactful collection feature eclectic designs drawing upon celestial and astrological themes. 

Let us tell you a story

Each of the unique earring designs together make a complete story; symbolising ten key pillars in an alternative universe that would be characterised by a more egalitarian and harmonious mythical culture.

Every earring is accompanied by a bespoke beautifully printed keepsake Tarot style card, designed in collaboration with German artist Max Loeffler, winner of 2018’s prestigious The Folio Society Award at Quentin Blake’s House of Illustration. The cards are a cosmic keepsake and aim to help bring to life the philosophy and inspiration behind each design.

We've been scheming our new designs for some time now and are mega excited to reveal them very soon. But for now, here's an intro to the team behind our first shoot with the earrings.

First up, thanks to Tamara at Renaissance studio for hosting us on a rather glorious sunny day in Brixton. Ester Keate (far right in the pic below) was the super talented, calm and collected photographer who led the shoot. The fabulous Anna Payne (second in from the right) worked with us on three make-up looks across the day - and even risked her neck by balancing some rather precarious props from a height for one picture, as ya do. Model Bluebell Wooi (central in the pic below - in case you couldnt guess!) looked fierce and powerful throughout, taking even the oddest requests in her stride and even getting an arm work out in for one creative pose...      

From the range, you can expect striking and eclectic gold-plated designs bought to life with movement and distinct textures. Think shimmering navy and gold planet-shaped danglies, brushed metal chunky hoops held by vivid emerald colour natural stones, and starry studs adorned with cryptic icons and jewels of deep green and rich burnt orange. 

We have drawn inspiration from the cosmos, counterculture, politics and Egyptology. We hope you like it.

Whatever your level of passion for earrings is, there are a couple of must haves. Trends will come and go, but these will see you through the ups and down of life (okay, not literally) and always remain stylish.

The hoop earring is your most basic essential. It will be continuously useful. If it's a large or chunky hoop it can make you feel instantly confident. It can also totally evoke a no-messing attitude boost. Yes you may observe I am wearing massive badass hoops. Why? Because why the hell not?!

Hoops can also dress down a fancy outfit. To help you get some daytime wear out of those party clothes you really love, but just don't quite have enough occasions for. They look great totally casual with stripes and jeans, or simply sexy with a deep red lip and Latin vibe.

So versatile. So needed in your life. Dinny Hall do a great quality signature hoop, as well as some more risque variations. And BTW this look is totally hot right now. Even real fashion types like French Vogue are featuring hoops - so it must be true. 

My other staple earring is a chunky bold 80s-inspired stud. Check out The Power Lineup to see what I mean. These bad boys have the opposite power to a hoop. They can totally dress up a casual outfit - or take a glam look to a whole new wow dimension.

In particular, a strong simple solid gold stud will always see you right. For me, they define a fierce jewellery collection and are the classic style that just keeps giving. Totally wearable and instantly stylish.
